Should I make a reservation?

If you have a party, don't want to wait, or simply want your equipment ready when you arrive, then you want a reservation. Reservations eliminate the disappointment of arriving only to find out we are full. Reservations also jump you to the front of the line. Your equipment will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive. All you'll need to do is sign in, go through a brief safety orientation, and then we'll get you started!

What should I wear?

The paintballs are non-toxic, non-staining, and virtually harmless, but you should wear clothes you don't mind getting messed up. After all, you will be running, rolling, diving, and jumping around! While there are no guidelines for what you should wear, there are a few items you should avoid.

  • Sandals.
  • Short shorts - regular shorts are fine.
  • Tank tops.

Do the paintballs stain?

No! The paintballs do not stain, and our protective vests cover a significant portion of your body anyway. Protective vests are standard with every rental package! So if you are planning to rent, just bring comfortable clothes that cover your arms and legs. We'll take care of the rest!

Do we have to share the field?

Absolutely not. Urban Paintball is the only field that offers unlimited private play. All day. No limits.

What is unlimited private play?

Unlimited private play means that you will never be thrown in with people you don't want to play with. We are the only paintball field in Houston that offers this invaluable service. It's common for players to be lumped together at other fields, pitting players with thousands of dollars worth of equipment and years of playing experience against beginners. That never happens at Urban War Zone Paintball.

What is a thermal mask?

Single pane lenses fog easily in the humid Houston weather. Dual lens, or thermal lens masks, virtually eliminate this annoyance.

Is there an age limit?

The age limit is 11 years old. This is the standard age limit for all fields in Houston. This age is set by the insurance companies and is non-negotiable. If you have younger kids who can play, rest assured that they will not be thrown in with adults or other parties. Unlimited private play is standard at Urban War Zone Paintball!

Do you have a covered picnic area?

Absolutely. Bring, cake, order pizza, or eat some snacks in the shade. Our covered area is right next the paintball fields, so even if you don't want to play, you'll be able to see all the paintball action!

Is the field indoors?

There are no indoor fields in Houston. We do however, have the most conveniently located and service oriented field in Houston.

What should I bring?

Bring a smile and be ready to have a great time! We have everything else you need, from paintballs to snacks, drinks, or even Papa John's pizza.
